About the Transmission Line Availability Data Guidelines and
Definitions...

SGS Statistical Services organized and led a group of 37 electric
transmission organizations to develop the Transmission Line
Availability Data Guidelines and Definitions.  Blue Arc Energy
Solutions, Inc. was contracted by SGS to co-author the first draft and
participated in production of the final document.  It was completed in
February 2003.

This document is intended to provide a comprehensive guideline for
definitions associated with the collection of data to assess the
availability of electric transmission circuits and systems. The audience
for this document is transmission owners, operators, regulatory
authorities and other stakeholders in the electric transmission industry.

The Guideline is a free-use document.  It may be used by any party for
any purpose, with attribution except that the document
may not be
published for sale without permission of the editors and copyright
